125th Day-29th Year!
4th Day of The 5th month
05-09-2008
6th Day of the week, which is called Friday!
O Lord God, You have said that You would Strengthen us by Your Spirit in the inward man! Let Thy Strength come unto us, O Lord. It is Your Strength that I look for. Blessed and Holy are You, O Lord God our Provider! O Lord, You are the Operator! You are the Provider of the desires! When a man has a desire to work, will not the Lord give him the ability to work? Let the Lord be magnified! Let all of my meditations come forth from You! You do supply us with all of our proper thoughts. You also make us aware of the evil speaking, disguising itself as our own thoughts. Thank You for this ability to recognize the evil speaking! Let these things be utterly destroyed. What causes problems? O Lord, You know!
The Word said to seek first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness! How do you seek it; and, where do you seek it? Daily, God is looking at what you are seeking; and, He is seeing what you are seeking first! Let your seeking priority be set by God. The seeking and the desiring must be in the order that He has stated. Has God seen you thinking that a Report, which He sent forth, as being too long? These are things that God has spoken to people about many years ago: and, now, these have the opportunity to tell others about not having such thoughts about a Report, which God has sent forth. You read in the spirit, and by the Spirit: but, you shall not read in the flesh, because the flesh is weak. And, you shall not allow the flesh to rule over your desires, because the flesh will cause you not to desire the things of the Spirit. There is hatred between the flesh and the Spirit. Do you have the same feelings about physically eating food?
Just because people are not giving a preacher the Tithes and offerings, that is no excuse for him to go get a job, and have another head over him. He must be the first to show the ability to stand according to the way the Lord has commanded him to stand. He must be the first example of the faith. Faith came by hearing from God what God requires of him. It is a trial to see if he will be turned to go against what God has required of him. Many preachers have gotten themselves bound to other jobs; and, by those jobs they have accumulated much material things; and, most of these things are on time payment plan. If they shall leave these jobs, they will lose all of their material gain. They are tossed between doing what God has said, and losing all of their material gain. But, what will it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul? But, deliverance comes from the Lord for those who call upon Him for deliverance. It is not making a deal with the Lord as saying, "If You will bless me with the money to pay for these things, I will quit this job."
You will gain more skills as you continue to do things! All who can read should do more reading so you can become more skillful in reading. Do not let your desires be against reading. Thank God for that ability; and, ask Him to increase you in ability to read in the Spirit, and by the Spirit! Delight in that ability; and, desire to read the Word of God. Ask God to increase you with ability by His Spirit in your inward man! I did notice that in the reading of the Report 349, that I had to put the recorder on pause several times. There are things that we are learning about going only as far as the Lord is taking us. We wait on the Spirit; and, we don't go anywhere without the Spirit. Skills come with continuance! Let the younger ones, especially, give themselves to more reading of the Word of God! Amen!
You rise up in the morning with a lot of problems: but, as you continue with a desire to continue, those problems start to fade away.
It is written in Luke 18:1-8, saying, "And He spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint, saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, shall He find faith on the earth?"
People ask God for something one time; and, never make mention of it again. But, notice the woman in the parable, which the Lord spoke! She continued to go to that unjust judge about her problem! Remember also, the Lord Jesus going back to the Father and praying the same prayer three times. But, how many times have you petitioned the Lord about a problem which has not been resolved? The problem with the disobedient and disrespectful child was not resolved: but, there has not been a continual petitioning of the Lord concerning this! There is also this situation about the preacher who is out of the way! Is there continual petitioning of the Lord concerning problems which you have witnessed? Understand what the Lord was saying about praying always, and not fainting! God is not angry because you continue to petition Him about a problem: but, He is angry because you do not continue to petition Him about these problems! Amen!
