148th_Day_31st_Year!
28th Day of The
5th Month!
06-02-2010
4th Day of the week, which is called Wednesday!

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you
that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, with all
lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in
love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of
peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called
in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God
and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you
all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the
measure of the gift of Christ. For this reason, He said when He
ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto
men. (Seeing that He ascended, what is it but that He also
descended, first, into the lower parts of the earth? He that
descended is the Same, also, that ascended up far above all spirits,
that He might fill all things.) And, He gave some, apostles; and
some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers
for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ, until we all come in the unity of the
faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto
the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we
henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but, speaking the
truth in love, so that we may grow up into Him in all things, which is
the Head, even Christ, from whom the whole body fitly joined together
and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the
effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the
body unto the edifying of itself in love. This I say therefore,
and testify in the Lord, that you henceforth walk not as other Gentiles
walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened,
being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in
them, because of the blindness of their heart, who being past feeling
have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness
with greediness.
But you have not so learned Christ, if so be that
you have heard Him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in
Jesus, that you put off, concerning the former conversation, the old
man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and, be renewed
in the Spirit of your mind! And, that you put on the new man,
which after God, is created in righteousness and true holiness.
For this reason, put away lying, and speak every man truth with his
neighbor, because we are members one of another.
Be you angry, and sin not! Let not the sun go
down upon your wrath! Neither give place to the devil. Let
him that stole steal no more: but, rather let him labor, working with
his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that
needs. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that
which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto
the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you
are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and
wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you,
with all malice: and, be you kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven
you. Amen!
Proverbs 31
"The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? Give not your strength unto women, nor your ways to that which destroyeth kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
(Make a joyful noise: and, come into the assembly of the Lord to be washed and filled with joy!)
Open your mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Who can find a virtuous woman, because her price is far above rubies? The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeks wool, and flax, and works willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she brings her food from afar. She rises also while it is yet night, and gives meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considers a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goes not out by night. She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reaches forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household, because all of her household are properly clothed. (She chooses their clothes by wisdom) She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land. She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looks well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all.
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but, a woman that fears the
LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands;
and let her own works praise her in the gates. Amen!"
